(Small Form-factor Pluggabl e) socket for Gigabit Ethernet fiber optic expansion that comes with multi-mode, single-mode, or WDM single-

mode fiber optic transceiver module. In addition to Fast Ethernet Fiber Media Converters, EtherWAN's Gigabit Ethernet F iber Media

Converte r series is a cost-effective way of integrating legacy 10Mbp s Ethernet netwo rks and 100Mbps Fast Ethernet netwo rks with

1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet networks.

EtherWAN's Ethernet Extender is used in pairs to extend Ethernet ove r existing copper telephone wires. With a single switch setting, one

Ethe rnet Extender is set for local and the other Ethernet E xtend er is set for remote . And EtherWAN's Ethe rnet Extender over c oaxial cable

is used for security surveillance applications. It is used to transmit signals fr om IP cameras throug h Ethernet and existin g coaxial cables

between two Ethernet Extenders.

The best way to extend the transmission distance of copper-based network devices is to use fiber optic cables between fiber optic ports of

Ethernet Fiber Media Converters. You may also extend the transmi ssion distance of an Eth ernet network by c onnecting two Ethernet

Extenders over existing copper wire or coaxial cables.
