Top Case Removal

Before proceeding, you must first remove:

Battery

Keyboard

Bottom Case

Note: You do not have to remove the

bottom shield or fan to remove the top

case.

Remove the 4 philips head screws as

shown. (There is one on the right of the

picture that is hard to see, but make sure

it is removed.)

Remove the 3 philips head screws

shown in red. (Ignore the hand in the

picture.)

Note: These screws will strip easily!

Make sure you apply enough downward

pressure when you are removing them,

or they will strip.
