The top case will now be loose to lift

up. (You won’t be removing the

trackpad yet.) Start on the top right hand

corner near the AC input and DVD

drive, and gently lift the case up.

Undo the power button cord (the blue

and white cable) from the logic board.)

Now, remove the speaker cable (Black

and red wire) from the logic board. The

top case will now lift up and out of the

iBook.
