4. Disconnect the inverter board ﬂex cable from the inverter board and logic board.

5. Disconnect the optical drive and modem ﬂex cables from the logic board.

6. Remove the two T6 screws that secure the modem.

7. Lift up the end of the modem slightly and disconnect the 2-pin cable connector.
