Introduction to Logic
for GarageBand Users
Using GarageBand, you’ve discovered how easy it can
be to create your own musical masterpieces. Now youre
ready to take the next step and move up to one of the
professional-level music applications from Apple,
Logic Pro 7 or Logic Express 7.
This tutorial is designed to help users familiar with GarageBand start using Logic
(either Logic Pro or Logic Express). After completing the tutorial, you’ll understand
the similarities and differences between GarageBand and Logic, know how to
perform basic tasks in Logic, and be ready to start creating and editing songs.
Note:
The content of this tutorial applies to both Logic Pro 7 and Logic Express 7,
except where differences between the two are specifically noted.
