Installing an unusually long PCI card

If you are having difficulty inserting a 12-inch PCI card into the slot, it may be necessary to

temporarily remove the speaker housing/card guide assembly to install the card. Follow

these steps to remove the speaker housing/card guide assembly and install a PCI card.

1 Remove the speaker housing/card guide assembly as shown below.

2 Move the speaker housing/card guide assembly to one side so that it does not block the slot

you want to use.
