To convert a plug-in, follow t hese steps:

ocate and open the Input Method Plug-in Conve rter.
It is in the Chinese
U
tilities folder in the Apple Extras folder.
2 Choose

pen fro
m
th e File

enu.
3 In the dialog box that appears, locate the text file f or the plug-in and open it.
After you convert a plug-in, place it in the Input Method Plug-in folder, which is in the
Extens ions folder
(
in the
S
yste
m
Folder
)
on your hard disk and restart your co
m
puter. If
there isn’t an Input Method Plug-in folder in t he Extensions folde r, create o ne.
Removing the Chinese Language Kit
If you decide you want to re

ove the Chinese

anguage Kit software, you use the sa

Installer progra

you used to install the soft ware.

3 Click Continue when the Installer dialog box appears.

6 Click to select the software you want to re

ove.
7 Make sure that the

isk is the hard disk fro

which you want to re

ove the
Chinese

anguage Kit.
If the d estin ation dis k isn’t correct, click

isk until the cor rect disk is shown.

hen you are ready, click

ove.
9 Follow any directions that appear onscreen .

ove the other

ethod fonts, you will not be able to use th e fonts and your syste

not work properly.
