The selected Internet setups are filed in the new location. The Internet Setup slip

shows where the setups are stored.

Sending an Internet setup to another Newton device

You can mail or beam an Internet setup to another Newton device—for example, to

save a friend the trouble of manually creating the setup.

s Warning If your Internet setup includes the password for your account, you should

delete the password from the setup before sending it, to prevent unauthorized

access to your Internet account. s

Note: Your password is not displayed when you print, fax, or send the setup

over e-mail.

To delete your password before sending an Internet setup, follow these steps:

1 Tap or press Extras E, tap the folder tab, then tap Setup.

2 Tap the Internet Setup icon.

An overview, or list, of your Internet setups appears.

3 Tap the Internet setup you are sending.

A summary slip appears.

4 Tap User ID, then tap Edit Password.

5 Tap Set.

A slip appears asking if you don’t want to require a password.

6 Tap OK.

7 Tap all X’s to close the slips.

You can now send your Internet setup without your password. After you send the

setup, don’t forget to open that setup and add your password again.
