If you’re still having difficulties after reading this chapter, you may want to contact

m your ISP or network administrator
m the manufacturer of the Internet software you’re using
In all cases, you might want to do the following:
m Make a note of exactly what you were doing when the problem occurred. Write
down the message on the screen and its ID number (if any).
m List the programs you were using and the names of any software or other items
installed on your Newton device. This information may help a customer support
person diagnose the problem, if you need to call later.
m Check the screen for any clues. Is a button selected? What programs and items
(such as papers, drawings, or notes) are open? Note anything else that seems
relevant.
m Ask other Newton users about the problem you’re having; they may have a
solution for it.
